A one-time event became the spark that ignited Summer's passion to help refugees.

 

She had lived in neighborhoods where service in community is common and orchestrated.

 

These people's beliefs inspired them to help their neighbors with less.

 

Summer too has a willing heart because she says she gain a sense of great joy when she sees others' lives improve.

It wasn't later that Summer realized the impact of service goes beyond the receivers.
